Dominique Unsworth MBE

PRODUCER
Dom has made 100+ short films and has supported 100s of UK-based under-represented Artists and Filmmakers through the social enterprise she founded in 1999 ‘Resource Productions CIC’.
Having developed and delivered screen sector skills programmes for new entrants and experienced crew, with partners including Shadowbox, Sky, Pinewood, Disney and AMAZON MGM, Dom founded ‘Berkshire Film Office’ and co-founded the British Film Institute Skills Cluster ‘Screen Berkshire’.
Dom is an active producer having overseen commissions for the likes of BBC and Channel 4 – with films recently eligible for BAFTA nomination.
Her debut feature ‘Little English’ by Pravesh Kumar – a British South Asian romcom set in Slough, takes a light-hearted look at everyday challenges for modern multicultural Brits.
The feature was released in UK cinemas in March 2023 and has been picked up for further distribution including UK streaming on ITVX.
Dom is a member of the British Screen Forum, BAFTA and Royal Society for Arts and was honoured with both a BEM & MBE.
Andrew St Maur

PRODUCER
Andrew has a BA in Film Production as well as being an NFTS producing graduate following a scholarship from Pinewood Studios. Andrew has produced over 27 short films for numerous funders and companies, including Channel 4, BBC, BFI and Creative England as well as numerous independent companies. Many of his films have gone on to screen at BAFTA/OSCAR qualifying festivals picking up awards along the way. He was a production associate on BIFA nominated “Scale” as well as an associate producer “Pops” now on Disney plus.
Operating out of his company St Maur Pictures Ltd most recently he produced a short film for Prime Video and NFTS as well as being production manager on a large scale short film “Wonderwall” a co-production between the UK and France, premiering at critics week in Cannes.
Andrew was also one of the producers and the First AD for “Little English”. Andrew continues to be a production tutor, script reader, development producer for various organisations while also continuing his own slate of feature projects
Lesley-Anne Macfarlane

PRODUCER
Lesley-Anne Macfarlane is a Producer with a range of experience from commercials to independent film in the UK and the Caribbean region. In 2023 she produced her debut feature film, Little English. Supported by the BFI Audience fund, it has had a UK theatrical run of over 600 screens and is now digitally distributed.
Alongide Producing features, Lesley-Anne overseas numerous shorts through her role as BFI Skills Cluster Mananger for Screen Berkshire at Resource Productions CIC. Overseeing upskilling, re-skilling and new entrant screen sector programmes for partners including AMAZON MGM Studios.
Lesley-Anne has judged for several film festivals, including the BAFTA qualifying British Urban Film Festival and the One World Media Awards and was an Assessor for Ffilm Cymru Beacons Fund.
Sheis a BAFTA Connect and Women in Film & TV member and was selected for the 2022 BIFA Springboard programme and the Reclaim the Frame Filmonomics programme.
She is also a founding member of CAFTPro, an alliance supporting the growth of Caribbean film and television industries.
Pravesh Kumar MBE

WRITER & DIRECTOR
Pravesh is Artistic Director and CEO of the award-winning Rifco Theatre Company, and was honoured for Services to Theatre.
Rifco makes a different kind of theatre for a community that don’t themselves represented on stage. He has been at the forefront of bringing British South Asian audiences into theatres in their thousands, often for the first time.
Having worked in the commercial Indian film industry (Bollywood), his theatrical directorial debut was in 2000 with a UK tour of Bollywood – Yet Another Love Story. He has gone on to achieve critical acclaim for Rifco’s productions including: Dishoom!, Pyar Actually, Miss Meena & the Masala Queens, Laila The Musical, Britain’s Got Bhangra, Happy Birthday Sunita, It Ain’t All Bollywood, There’s Something About Simmy, The Deranged Marriage and most recently Frankie Goes to Bollywood.
His short film Gods on Mountains was nominated for a Satyajit Ray Award his short The Deranged Marriage was selected for the BAFTA-accredited BUFF festival.
Pravesh’s debut feature, Little English based on the play ‘There’s Something About Simmy’ sold out screens across the UK.
